Built in support for right click context menu

In Apex builder you have many places with a right click context menu. E.g right click on a region, and you get Create Region, Create Sub Region, Create Page Item etc.

It would be nice if you can make this for an application too, with Apex Builder, using a dynamic List. List entries can, for instance, refer to an application page, dynamic action, Javascript function.

This is currently on the roadmap for a future release of Oracle APEX.

We have a plugin right now, but would prefer baseline feature in APEX.. Who knows if existing plugins will work with 5.x release?

This is a use case for a plug-in. Personally I find context menus in web apps to be too inconsistent and confusing, with the (expected) standard browser menu, application menu (if any) and others (Flash etc) appearing in different contexts within the same site/document. This has significant usability and accessibility implications.

I would like this also. Would be cool to have a declarative way to make a context menu, by entering a list name for example

    Should be as an plugin.
