Idea Summary
When You add a new additional columns in LOV they are sequenced from 10 forward and they receive the same sequence numbers as existing columns. For example, I added a new column "Area" and it received a sequence number 10.

Also, there is no Re-sequence functionality, which could be useful if You have manually altered sequence numbers, for example like this:

Preferred Solution (Optional)
New columns receive a max sequence number + 10.

Add a Re-sequence button (sequences start with 10 and step is also 10)
