Idea Summary

APEX is low code so we need a widget to upload files into their respective clob and/or blob columns.

Use Case
Had claude create an html file to be used as body of an email. It was a pure nightmare to try to usefile loader to upload the html file to a clob column in a row in a table.

Preferred Solution (Optional)
the row edit function works great, just need to add a widget that senses the file type and pops up a drop down box of possible matching files. As you're in the row editor you know the destination table and column just update the column based on file selected, We all seen movie margin call jermery iron's famous line about speaking to a mgr as if you were to a small chlld or a dog so yeah need something:

1. low tech skilled users can use (hello apex is low code)

2. Doesn't take days of claude searches envolving many steps plus custom pl/sql code that in the end

might not work because of bugs. ibid.
