Attachment downloads from apex blob error

Idea Summary
We're using native attachment and download files feature within APEX.  Users have no problems attaching files but when they try to re-download it, the get apex_util_get_blob error.

Use Case
We found that any symbols used in filename gives us this error.

Sample:

  1. file.name.xls - Error

  2. file, name.xls - Error

  3. filename.xls - Downloads fine

Preferred Solution (Optional)
Can we handle the entire file name as long as they were able to save it in Windows?

This idea submission relates to an APEX bug and will be tracked in our bug system.

    Which APEX version are you using? In 24.1 we added a Download Process type and Dynamic Action. I tested this and doesn't have any of the issues you mention. 

    This sounds more like a bug and should be raised on our Forums instead with details on how to reproduce.

    User simply attach the files with filenames that has “,” or “.”.  When they try to re-download it, it gives them an apex_util_get_blob error.

    See Reference below on what we used:

    Current version : Oracle APEX 22.2.4

    For attachment object I am assuming – standard File Browser
