Idea Summary
The current APEX map region is very good and allows the use of layers to paint different data to a map  Some layers are very busy in my application, with many points.  it would be useful to be able to declaratively set a layer to be ‘default off’.  Whilst it would display in the on the ‘layers’ legend at the bottom, default off would not be drawn unless the layer was ticked by the user

Use Case
Busy map regions.   For example my application draws the start and end point of journey legs on a map of the UK.  I have a layer of UK Rail stations - some users may want to see the proximity of a rail station to their end point.  The problem is on a wider view, the 1500+ rail stations make the initial view very busy and must be turned off by the user if they want to focus on another layer.

When adding a layer to the apex map region - display default toggle.
