For PopUp Lov, remove the search bar.

Idea Summary
For Pop-up LOV, the search bar needs to be optional.

Use Case
For the lov that has only a few rows, we do not need a search bar. We are not able to use the select list option since we need the additional output values need to be passed to other columns and only popup lov has that option to pass hidden variable to other columns.

Preferred Solution (Optional)
Please make the search bar in popup LOV an option to enable/disable in properties.

    Duplicate of FR-2166, supposedly delivered in APEX 23.2 although I'm not seeing it…

    I would like to have some more clarity here. When I read the description, this rather sounds like a “I would like to have the ”Additional Outputs" feature from the Popup LOV for other LOV types as well; is that correct? Or expressed otherwise: If the select list had that option, would you still want to have a Popup LOV without the search bar?

    I need the additional outputs option. Yes, if additional outputs option exists with select list, then I will gladly use select list. But currently looks like we do not have additional outputs options in select list.

    I guess this is to implement the ability to filter the content displayed in the drop-down list with the characters typed by the keyboard?

    @Carsten Yes to allow additional outputs for a normal select list item would be very useful.
