Idea Summary:
The idea is to use Oracle APEX (Application Express) to display workflows, specifically illustrating how requests progress from one stage to another. This could involve depicting the flow of requests or approvals between different individuals or departments, such as from an employee to their supervisor and then to HR. example blow

Use Case:
This idea is particularly useful in scenarios where a well-defined workflow is followed for handling requests or approvals. Some potential use cases include:

  1. Leave Requests: Visualizing the process of leave requests, starting from an employee submitting a request to their immediate supervisor, followed by HR reviewing and approving the request.
  2. Purchase Requisitions: Displaying the flow of purchase requisitions, from the requester initiating the request, to department managers reviewing and approving the request, and finally to the procurement team for processing.
  3. Document Approvals: Illustrating the steps involved in document approvals, such as a document creator submitting it for review, reviewers providing feedback or approval, and the final sign-off by an authorized person.
This has been delivered in Oracle APEX 24.1!

What you are essentially looking for is a graphical representation of the workflow audit showing the path that was actually taken during the running of the workflow. This feature is in our roadmap and will be available in a future release.
