Idea Summary
A notable shortcoming of Oracle Apex is printable custom formats. There is no native tool to facilitate the task. A practical solution would be to implement a feature that allows to upload sample documents such as word, excel, etc. and that by simply putting tags such as <<query_field1>> the tags are replaced by the values returned by the query and allows to generate documents in PDF or in the same source format, with the values of the query.

Use Case
Print any customized report very easily from dynamic data obtained by queries. The current Oracle BI Publisher solution is not really an option to consider, because of its costs and because it is an external tool that complicates things a lot.
