Quick Pick on Lists

The Quick Pick functional for lists (Popup LOV, etc), should not just be static. There should be the option to specify static list, SQL statement, etc as you can for say the source of the select list itself.

This is planned for a future APEX release.

    Why isn't this controlled via a SQL statement already?

    A workaround using existing components is available.

    Could it be handled the same way as LOV's: specific a SQL statement/static list or shared component list ?

    Definitely need Quick Picks to respect multiple values.  IE if the item allows multiple values, then the quick picks should add to the existing value and not overwrite it.
