Allow declarative positioning of items on region title bar

Idea Summary
Allow declaratively choosing to position page items and buttons on region title bar. Somewhat similar to the legacy option for buttons “Right of title”  but right-justified within the title bar

Use Case
Usually there is a lot of real estate on region headers, and often it is convenient to use that space for placing a page item (a checkbox, select list, radio group) or a “help” button there. Right now I couldn't find another way than moving the page item container to the region header using javascript.

Preferred Solution (Optional)
Declaratively offer position option “Right of Title” for page items and buttons. For example in t-Region-headerItems--buttons section so that  the item/button gets rendered towards the right end  of the title bar, instead of sticking it to the title text

This has been delivered in Oracle APEX 22.2!

    Button positioning is already supported using the Copy and Edit button positions.

    The ability to locate page and region items there is long overdue.

    Wasn't it worth leaving for voting? Or was there another such idea?

    I was asking about page item, the comment from fac586 was about buttons.

    Is there a way to position a page item on the title bar? I must have missed it

    This is possible in APEX 22.2, you can try it now on apex.oracle.com

    Hi I am on apex 23.1 on oracle free.

    I am not able to place a page item into anywhere other than the region body.

    Is there a new region template that should be used or an update to the existing region templates to allow this new functionality?

    Is there any documentation on how to use this feature?

    After refreshing the theme.  I am able to place page items in the region header using the edit position.

    This however only shows the tilte of the page item.  Tried text field and select list.  Only the title is shown.

    Is this functionality only restricted to buttons?  If so why do page items provide an option for placement?
