Idea Summary
It is quite common to have a table with a start and end date columns.
Currently you would create two page items as a date picker for the start and date.
And you need to add some checks that a start date is always before the end date.

I would like to see that it would be possible to have a native period selector in a calendar.
Just like google flights is using for instance:

This is easier for the user and more intuitive
