Idea Summary
Add an option to select all items at the same time  for "Select Many" Apex component

Use Case
When I filter a lot of items, and I need to select all of them, the manual selection is not user friendly.
To have a button (for example) to do that is better

Preferred Solution (Optional)
To have a button (for example) inside the component to do that

We reviewed this idea carefully, and while it was interesting, we concluded that it is unlikely to make its way into APEX in the foreseeable future.

    This is a common request from my users.

    After filtering data with cascading list of values, the user often wants to select all the records in last “select many” item box.  They currently have to click on each item.  “too many clicks”.

    I understand why this might be useful. After investigation, we determined this could easily lead to misusing the select all item. What if the LOV returns hundreds of rows? What if we clear or change the filter, is the selection preserved? If so how do we manage current selection?

    We might revisit this later, but for now we will close this idea.
