Auto-generate Breadcrumb based on Navigation Menu Hierarchical List Entries

Idea Summary
What if we would be able to auto-generate breadcrumbs based on the info we already have defined in the Hierarchical Navigation Menu? Most of the times the Navigation Menu user flow is the same as the breadcrumb user flow. 

Use Case
Save hours defining complex breadcrumbs when the user flow is identical to the user flow defined in the Navigation Menu. 

Preferred Solution (Optional)
There should be a way to transform an hierarchical shared component list into breadcrumbs. It should also generate breadcrumb regions on all pages that are linked to a Nav Menu Entry, but only when such a region does not exist.

We reviewed this idea carefully, and while it was interesting, we concluded that due to all the internal implications we need to take into account, it is unlikely to make its way into APEX.
