Idea Summary
Ability to change app ID during deployment to the existing prod app ID and make sure that the private reports are saved.

Use Case
So our use case is different from what has been provided as a solution. We usually have the same workspace ID but different app ID when we work on new apps. Reason is we use the same database for our UAT and don't have a separate db for the same. When we copy the apps the private reports are lost
 

Preferred Solution (Optional)

This is a great idea! So much that we have already implemented it in a previous release of APEX.
