Idea Summary
Currently, the accepted behavior for right-clicking on an RDS (region display selector) tab option and selecting “Open in New Tab” is to redirect the user to the APEX Workspace Login screen. For any user-facing applications, this behavior is unacceptable and poses a potential security risk. The behavior of this action should be changed, at the very least to prevent end-users from accessing the APEX Workspace Login screen. One current workaround is enabling Rejoin Sessions, but again is a significant security risk and is deemed not recommended by Oracle itself.

Use Case
This would be implemented in every RDS or Tabs Container region in any APEX application.

Preferred Solution (Optional)
Ideally, opening in a new tab would do just that, open the same page with the appropriate region selected. I understand that this is difficult because the link generated from clicking an RDS tab has the format https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/#R58803500856091497721 but there should be a way to take the existing APEX link and utilize that.
