Compact REDWOOD UI Theme

Idea Summary
Current REDWOOD UI components are huge in size can we have a compact version of the theme to display more data on a single screen without scrolling?

Use Case
Many of the customers want to see more fields/data on a single screen without changing the browser zoom setting. specially oracle ERP/Fusion-related applications / Reports / IG .

Preferred Solution (Optional)
Oracle provides a compact version of REDWOOD UI themes or themes style

We reviewed this idea carefully, and while it was interesting, we concluded that due to all the internal implications we need to take into account, it is unlikely to make its way into APEX.

    Information density is very important in business intelligence and reporting apps.  This is especially true of reports.

    Hi @ashok , we hear this a lot and it's a valid idea. The challenge with Redwood is that the design specs don't come from inside the APEX team as its patterns are made for Oracle systems, therefore APEX doesn't get to choose the font size, the padding, and other attributes that make up for the UI density.

    APEX does not encourage using Redwood Light for non Oracle apps. You can use Universal Theme Vita for a denser UI and more control.
