Time Picker Field Type

Idea Summary
User should be able to select a simple time picker as field type. Basic configuration options should be either AM/PM or 24 Hour Clock. User should be able to select minute increments (i.e. 15, 30..) and limit hours, i.e. (9AM - 12PM).

More advanced options would be ability to select multiple times and those times be stored as a simple delimited list. I have a some ideas how this should look, get in touch for more info post.ethan@gmail.com

Selecting times, such as what time each day would you like us to send you a reminder?

Preferred Solution (Optional)
Just select time select as field type, set some options and that's it. LOW CODE!

This is currently on the roadmap for a future release of Oracle APEX.

    Yes ! and the component should include the time formatting behavior of cleaver.js library which is very nice…

    Hi there, thank you for this ideas. I will try to answer all of them:

    • Minute Increment: Already possible as Component Setting for all date pickers in the app or for each item
    • AM/PM: depends on the format mask, I'm not shure if an additional declarative setting makes real sence
    • Limit Hours: Interesting idea, which we gladly take up. We are constantly trying to improve our components and already have a few ideas on how this could be implemented. 
    • Autocomplete (e.g. cleave.js): Something like autocomplete definitely makes sense for some items, like the Number, Date Picker or others. This idea came up several times and we hope that we can implement this feature soon.
