Add "Start New Row" layout property for items and regions positioned in Breadcrumb Bar

Idea Summary
Add "Start New Row" layout property for items and regions positioned in Breadcrumb Bar

Use Case
When items and regions are positioned in the Breadcrumb Bar, they are always “Start New Row”.

We can't place 2 or more items on the same row. This would be very useful…

We reviewed this idea carefully, and while it was interesting, we concluded that it is unlikely to make its way into APEX in the foreseeable future.

“Hero Body now has grid support” is listed as a bug fix in the Change Log for UT 21.2.

This raises the question as to whether the absence of layout grid support in various page and region templates (Login/Breadcrumb/Button Container etc) should also be considered to be a bug?

Is there any reason why grid layout should not be available on all page and region templates?

Is there any benefit in having some components that don't have it?

We are considering reviewing this Breadcrumb position to support grid in Universal Theme.

Is there any benefit in having some components that don't have it?

The benefits are that the grid gutter is not rendered when grid is turned off. It takes less white space and it is often desired in tight areas like the navigation bar where we want to drop a single component.

    Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for publishing this idea and sorry for the long delay. We're making efforts to review all ideas and stay up to date in the future. After careful consideration, we've decided that the breadcrumb bar will not support grid. That is by design.

However, we are considering other ways of configuring the grid support on all page and region positions. If and when that comes out, it would overrule this idea.

Thanks for contributing and we hope to hear other ideas from you in the future.
