Expand the row in IR.

Idea Summary
In so many cases the report row is not long enough to display all information. We do have the ability of horizontal scroll but I believe in some cases it would be better to allow the report row to conditionally expand vertically to present additional information.

Use Case
Basic project information is presented in IR. The user can readily see all basic information at glance. In case the user wants to see more details, instead of scrolling allow the user to expand the row to see more details.

Preferred Solution (Optional)
Allowing the “+” button to expand the report row.

This is currently on the roadmap for a future release of Oracle APEX.

    This applies to IG and reports in general as well.

    How does this differ from the existing Detail View feature?

    Very different. User NEVER loses the focus on the grid as an slightly different example below, but the concept is similar. In example below different data is shown but in my thinking for example I would like expand the row so more details are displayed for a column. e.g. collapsed row shows just a name, expanded will in addition to the name show the address of a person

    If I may, integrating the datagrid component (expand / collaspe) of oracle jet would be nice. For a first version the edit mode is not required.

    Yes as of today in classic reports i could do with this option.
