In this hands-on lab, discover how to harness AI and MCP Agents with OCI Managed OpenSearch Service v3.0 to automate log ingestion, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and accelerate incident resolution. Learn how to leverage the platform’s advanced observability features and built-in AI Agents to ingest real-time telemetry and build agentic workflows that generate actionable insights. By the end, you’ll be equipped to transform cloud monitoring, speed up development and data exploration, reduce Mean Time to Ticket Resolution, and empower your teams with AI-driven advanced search, analytics, and observability.

  • Lab 1: Pre-requisites
  • Lab 2: Create OCI an Opensearch Cluster and OCI Opensearch Dashboard
  • Lab 3: Setup GitHub + VS code + Python 
  • Lab 4: Load Opensearch Sample Data
  • Lab 5: Deploy Models and Create Ingetion Pipeline
  • Lab 6:Test Semantic Search with KNN Index and automated chunking (Optional)
  • Lab 7: Log Streaming/Ingestion with Data Prepper
  • Lab 8: RAG pipeline & Conversational Search + Automated RAG pipeline (Optional)
  • Lab 9: Intro to AI Agents & Agent Tools
  • Lab 10: Flow Agents / Flow Framework

  • Lab 11: Agentic Workflow: with with In-built Opensearch Server MCP Server

     

  • Familiarity with OCI Compute (Linux instances) is required. A user should be familiar with connecting to a Linux VM via SSH
  • Familiarity with OCI Networking is helpful
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is helpful
