In this workshop, learn how to use the new Fleet UI to automate patching of multiple Oracle Database targets using Oracle Enterprise Manager. This workshop is a fully functional Oracle Enterprise Manager environment configured to run predefined use cases against multiple Oracle Database targets. The workshop VM comes preinstalled with Enterprise Manager 13.5 and Oracle Database targets - 18.3, 18.8, 18.10, 19.3 and 19.10. Making it easy to deploy and startup an environment in ~20 minutes.

  • Create Gold Image
  • Subscribe Database
  • Deploy Image
  • Migrate Listener
  • Update Database – Patch 18.3 to 18.10
  • Rollback Database – Reversed Patch 18.10 to 18.3
  • Cleanup Old Homes
  • Familiarity with Oracle Database is desirable, but not required
  • Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager is desirable, but not required
  • Some understanding of cloud and database terms is helpful
