About This Workshop
Oracle Blockchain Tables and Immutable Tables offer a structured approach to maintaining data integrity, security, and verifiability within the Oracle Database. This LiveLab demonstrates how these technologies use cryptographic signing, digest generation, and verification to preserve trust and support auditability. In Blockchain Tables, each row is cryptographically chained to the previous one, forming a secure and traceable record history. The digest feature captures periodic snapshots of table state, which can be independently verified to detect tampering or anomalies. Through hands-on exercises, you'll learn how these capabilities support compliance, fraud detection, and secure transaction logging. Both features are available in Oracle Database 19c, 21c, and 23ai.
