About This Workshop
Oracle Database@Google Cloud is an Oracle Cloud Database service that runs Oracle Database workloads in your Google Cloud environment. Built on Oracle's best database services - Oracle Exadata Database Service and Oracle Autonomous Database - you can quickly develop and modernize applications with capabilities such as Oracle Database 23ai AI Vector Search and Google’s Vertex AI. In this workshop, you will learn how to deploy Autonomous Database@Google Cloud. Then, you will run database workloads, monitor those workloads and migrate data to the platform. Post that you will review Database Actions that comes inbuilt with Oracle Autonomous Database.

  • Lab 3: Connect ADB with Swingbench application
  • Lab 4: Monitoring ADB@GCP
  • Lab 5: Migrate data to ADB@GCP
  • Lab 6: Oracle Database Actions
  • Familiarity with Database is desirable, but not required
  • Some understanding of cloud and database terms is helpful
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud (GCP) is helpful
