When applications run as a container in Kubernetes, it's hard to troubleshoot and locate the point of failure when performance is poor. In this workshop learn how to enable log collection for all the components, including the network, and enable end-to-end Kubernetes monitoring for the underlying infrastructure, Kubernetes platform, and cloud native applications using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Logging Analytics.

  • Launch Kubernetes Monitoring Solution from OCI Marketplace on an existing OKE Cluster
  • Understand Logs, Metrics and other telemetry collected in Log Explorer and Logging Analytics Dashboards
  • Search and analyze Kubernetes Platform telemetry in Log Explorer, create saved-searches, dashboard widgets
  • Build custom monitoring dashboards and advanced analytics for troubleshooting cloud native applications
  • Oracle.com SSO account
  • Conceptual understanding of Logging Analytics, Management Agent, Fluentd
  • Conceptual understanding of Kubernetes/OKE concepts and telemetry
  • Familiarity with OCI Console
