About This Workshop
In this lab, you will learn the basic concepts of the Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database and how it can be used as a cache for data stored in an Oracle Database. You will see how to install TimesTen and to create a cache for some of the tables in an Oracle Database. By running some example queries, and a sample application, you will observe the dramatic improvement in SQL response time provided by the cache.
