About This Workshop
OML4SQL enables SQL developers to use machine learning algorithms in the Oracle Database. It is for those looking to process data in place without moving the data out of the database. This allows you to leverage the high performance database to process data for machine learning.

Detect anomalies with OML4SQL using one-class support vector machine (SVM). This workshop introduces you to Oracle Machine Learning for SQL (OML4SQL) on Oracle Database. OML4SQL supports machine learning modeling using scalable in-database algorithms, as well as support for data exploration and preparation, and model evaluation using Oracle SQL and PLSQL.

  • Oracle Database 21c installed.
  • Access the Oracle database containing the customer insurance table and run the scripts to configure the user and prepare data. The virtual machine used for this lab is the same VM that was used in the OML4PY Workshop of the previous lab.
  • SSH private key with which you created your VM on OCI.
