Audit columns should be default hidden on runtime.

Idea Summary
Audit columns should be default hidden in all items like IR, form, reports etc.

Use Case
When we create the new form, reports all the columns by default display and manually hide the audit columns every time.

  • This will save the time and space in grid.

Preferred Solution (Optional)
If possible by default all the columns show in design time but audit columns should be hidden type when user want to select change the type text/display etc.

We reviewed this idea carefully, and while it was interesting, we concluded that it is unlikely to make its way into APEX in the foreseeable future.

    Dear Members Pl vote of this idea. Audits columns display in design but at run time it is default hide. if required developer can decide show/hide.

    No doubt that some people would like this and benefit from this. At the same time, other people would find it annoying.

    A more robust solution would be to extend UI defaults to allow configuring this behavior. For now, I'm closing this idea as it is defined.
