Idea Summary
Allow exporting Classic Reports in Excel format (XLSX). Currently, Oracle APEX only supports CSV format natively for Classic Reports, which can be limiting for users who need to work with the data using Excel’s advanced features such as formatting, formulas, filtering, and charts. Adding native Excel export would improve usability and data handling capabilities.

Use Case
This feature would be useful for business users, analysts, and managers who regularly extract data from Classic Reports for further analysis or presentation purposes. CSV files often lose formatting and require additional steps to open properly in Excel, especially with international number/date formats. Exporting directly to Excel would streamline workflows, reduce manual formatting, and improve data presentation.
