Idea Summary
Please make it possible to edit an existing filter expression with only one click … and confirmation
(also referring to FR-3714 which still needs to be solved).

Use Case
When users enter a filter expression in the search field, and afterwards they want to replace that expression with another one, they first have to click the “X” and must wait again (because this causes the report to reload) before they can enter the new expression.

• Current situation consumes lots of time especially with long-running reports or when users often need to "try" out" their filter criteria
• Users have reported that the current solution is not intuitive and sometimes they run into false results when they forget to delete the former filter expression
   

Preferred Solution (Optional)
A click on the expression itself (which currently does nothing) could open a simple modal dialog with a text input and an [Apply] button. The new expression would then replace the former one immediately.
Any other implementation like an Edit […] icon would also be welcome.
