Multi tab for object browser + sql command

Idea Summary
On the Object Browser page, it's often necessary to review the definitions of multiple objects (such as tables, views, or procedures) while working on or editing packages. Currently, the interface allows viewing only one object at a time, which can be quite restrictive. Adding a multi-tab functionality for viewing and editing objects directly within the same page would significantly enhance usability, eliminating the need to open multiple browser tabs—a workaround that is both inconvenient and inefficient.

Additionally, the ability to open a SQL Commands tab within the same page would further streamline workflows, allowing users to seamlessly query and interact with the database without navigating away. These improvements would make the Object Browser page far more convenient and efficient for users.

We reviewed this idea carefully and came to the conclusion that it does not constitute an appropriate APEX feature request.

Such features in APEX SQL Workspace will not be enhanced as the DB Tools teams offers SQL Developer Web (aka Database Actions) as well as the extension for VS Code (and they are now also responsible for Quick SQL).

Thank you Jayson, but it's the same issue with SQL Developer Web and VS Code is not usable for users using APEX Service.

This would be something to take up with the DB Tools/ORDS team via their channels.
