Idea Summary
We need create secure PDF with password by using document generator in prebuild function.

Use Case
We want use secure PDF to send payslip

This is currently on the roadmap for a future release of Oracle APEX.

    Not OCI but you can do that today with AOP: https://www.apexofficeprint.com/docs/templates/pdf_operations#protecting-a-pdf-with-a-password

    There is an Enhancement Request for Document Generator for secure PDFs. I'll try to follow up when there is a response from the Document Generator Team.

    Is there a place for enhancement requests for Document Generator? I have plenty :-)

    Right now the functionality is so limited I cannot convert my current rtf templates in another tool to the Document Generator function.

    @ino.laurensse there's an internal place for these requests but nothing public that I know of. Feel free to send me an email that I can forward to the team.

    I now know the place for SRs. The best way for the customers to reach the Document Generator Team is to open a SR ticket to the OCI Function team.
