Option of Column in interactive report doesn't work, it work only with interactive grid.

Idea Summary
There is an option of Column in interactive report but it doesn't work, it work only with interactive grid. Make it functional because it is good to apply, or remove it if it is not working.

This request is likely a duplicate of FR-1968.

    Can you be more specific? The feature of selecting columns does work in IR..

    I was asking about column groups.

    I tried multiple times it work property in interactive grid and create groups for column.
    There is same option available in interactive report but it does not work and reflect on front end.

    IR Column Groups are not intended to be visible in the default report view, they only appear in the single row detail view, as described in the online help for the column Group property:

    Group

    Select the group for this column. Groups are used to display columns in logical groups in the Single Row View.

    If grouping of columns in a table without a plug-in is required, the region can be changed to an interactive grid, or a classic report with a custom report template.

    We closed this idea as a duplicate, as it's missing important details in the title and description. We reopened FR-1968 which can be reconsidered.
