Idea Summary
Allow a field to be required or not dynamically

Use Case
Just like a field you can choose whether you want it to be visible or not, and you can implement expressions or validations for other properties, it would be useful to be able to determine whether or not a field is required through SQL validation.

Preferred Solution (Optional)
Make required allow validations to be established using expressions, sql.....

We reviewed this idea carefully, and while it was interesting, we concluded that due to all the internal implications we need to take into account, it is unlikely to make its way into APEX.

    I think this is a clearer and more-useful idea than your previous request to make hidden fields as not required. I've definitely wanted to enable/disable the Required option for a field.
