Rich formatting carries information beyond the words and numbers in the message. With rich formatting, not only are your messages accurate and timely, they are also easily understood by their recipients. They communicate your company's brand to your customers and partners.
Starting with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Release 220.127.116.11, you can create orchestration and notification messages that include formatted text, tables, images, and links that are interspersed with the text. In this learning path, you will create a notification message with formatted text and images. You will also dispatch that notification so you can see what the message recipient would see. All the rich formatting features used in these exercises apply to orchestration messages, too. In fact, if you prefer, you can complete these exercises using an orchestration message step instead of a notification. You can then create an orchestration with that message step and run it to send the email to yourself.
In this learning path you will learn how to:
Enroll: Enroll to track your progress. An overall percent complete replaces the Enroll option and each task is marked as complete as you progress through the learning path.

Imagine that you work for a company that has several managers who are responsible for health and safety. Health and safety incidents are recorded in the EnterpriseOne Health and Safety Incidents application, and the managers need to review the incidents and take action. But from time to time the managers need a reminder to check on the status of the incidents, so you will create a nicely formatted message as a reminder to them, and include a convenient link in the message to launch the Health and Safety Incidents application.
