In this package you get the instructions and lab files you need to do a complete installation of the WebRTC Session Controller 7.2.

      Using the instructions, you will:

      • Download a pre-built virtual machine
      • Reconfigure networking for the WebRTC Session Controller practices
      • Install additional third-party software needed for the practices
      • Downloading, installing, and configuring WebRTC Session Controller Media Engine
      • Downloading, installing, and configuring WebRTC Session Controller Signaling Engine
      • Setting up audio, video and chat sessions between browsers by using a sample pre-built web application.
      • Setting up audio calls between browser and a SIP phone.

    • The Practice Instructions

This WebRTC Session Controller course is a self-paced, offline course. The practice instructions are provided in a PDF files and include step-by-step instructions. With its detailed, hands-on tutorials, you will walk away with a complete environment, suitable for prototyping and testing.

      The Practice Environment

The practices use two virtual machines that you create. The software that runs the virtual machines is Oracle VM Virtual Box. You need to have administrative rights on the machine to be able to disable or reconfigure any local firewall or CPU-intensive background processes, if necessary. The virtual machines require a laptop that fulfills the following specifications:

      • Operating System: Windows, Linux, OS X, or Solaris
      • CPU: Preferably a dual core, at least 2 GHz
      • RAM: At least 8 GB of RAM
      • Hard Drive: At least 15 GB of free space
      • Web Camera: Internal or external, to be able to test video calls
