This tutorial walks you through the steps that are needed to use Oracle Data Integrator Studio (ODI Studio) graphical tools to create a collocated agent to support (among other things) scheduling of procedures. This is the third of four from the Getting Started Series.
This tutorial walks you through the steps that are needed to create and connect to the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Master Repository and the ODI Work Repository using Repository Creation Utility (RCU) and GUI ODI Studio. This is the first of four from the Getting Started Series.
This self study course introduces the new features in version 12.1.3, such as FIPS AES encryption, Big Data support, and JSON support.
This video is a subset of the larger "Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Interactive Upgrade Guide" ecourse, https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=44785:24:0::::P24_CONTENT_ID,P24_PREV_PAGE:9797,1 . This demonstrates the FMW Upgrade Assistant upgrading ODI version 11.1.1.7 to ODI version 12.1.2.1 Master and Work Repositories, as well as Repository Creation Utility (RCU) upgrade. This presumes no WLS installed.
This Interactive Upgrade Guide lets you explore the options of upgrading from various earlier versions of ODI to later versions such as 12c. It includes videos of a live upgrade, and pointers to other documents, training, and web sites.
This is the first in a series of four recorded webcasts in the Oracle Data Integrator 12c: Getting Started series. Repositories are schemas and tables in a database that hold information about ODI Designs, Topologies, and Security. There is a one-to-many relationship between Master and Work repositories. The repository schemas and tables can be created either manually using ODI Studio or automatically using Repository Creation Utility (RCU). RCU is the preferred method of maintaining the repositories. The database storing the repository can be Oracle Database 12c or several other supported databases. This recording will walk you through the steps that are needed to create and connect to the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Master Repository and the ODI Work Repository using Repository Creation Utility (RCU) and ODI Studio.
This is the third in a series of four OLL Live recorded webcasts in the Oracle Data Integrator 12c: Getting Started series. A common task that is performed using ODI is to set up and install an ODI Agent. After the ODI scenarios are created, they can be scheduled and orchestrated using an ODI Agent, which is a lightweight Java process that orchestrates the execution of ODI scenarios. This tutorial walks you through the steps that are needed to set up and install the ODI Agent. This webcast walks you through the steps that are needed to use Oracle Data Integrator Studio (ODI Studio) graphical tools to create an agent collocated with WLS to support (among other things) scheduling of procedures.
This is the second in a series of four OLL Live recorded webcasts in the Oracle Data Integrator 12c: Getting Started series. There are many ways to get a flat file of data into an Oracle Database. For example, SQL*Loader is one of the proprietary tools included in many versions of Oracle Database. The problem is that other versions of other databases (such as IBM DB2, or Microsoft SQL Server) use different proprietary tools. ODI provids one standard way of importing files into many different databases. Furthermore, SQL*Loader is designed to take the data in unmodified, whereas ODI is designed to transform the data while it is being loaded. This webcast walks you through the steps that are needed to use Oracle Data Integrator Studio (ODI Studio) graphical tools to export an ASCII flat file of columnar data to an Oracle Database 12c relational table.
