This OBE teaches how to create a database instance (release 12c) suitable for Oracle GoldenGate data synchronization.  More complex OBEs covering more sophisticated aspects of Oracle GoldenGate (such as Integrated Extract and Integrated Replicat) will refer to this OBE as a requirement.
