Shows how to create a virtual machine on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute Classic. In this tutorial, you'll provision a virtual machine instance using an Oracle-provided Oracle Linux image and boot your instance from a persistent storage volume. After you’ve created your instance, you’ll also set up a security rule to enable HTTP access to your instance on port 80.

Shows how to create a custom Oracle Linux machine image that includes the LAMP stack (Apache HTTP Server, MySQL, and PHP running on Linux). The image that you create using this tutorial can be used to create instances on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute Classic. The tutorial also shows how to configure key-based SSH access for a user and how to change the boot kernel.

Learn how to use a Debian image to create an instance in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute Classic.
In this tutorial, you'll create an IP network and the required networking objects in your Compute Classic account. You'll then create an instance and add it to the IP network. Finally, you'll use VPNaaS to configure a VPN gateway and set up a VPN connection that will allow VPN access to the instance interface on the IP network, using the private IP address of the instance.
This tutorial shows how to configure networking for an application deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute Classic instances. The application and the database that the application uses are hosted on instances attached to separate IP networks. Users outside Oracle Cloud have HTTPS access to the application instances. The topology also includes an admin instance that users outside the cloud can connect to using SSH. The admin instance can communicate with all the other instances in the topology.
