    Scenario
    • Vision-Air manages and maintains movable and fixed location machines such as runway sweeper machines, forklifts, generators, fire trucks, and ambulances used in various operations of an airport. They would like to effectively monitor and manage all their assets by using an IoT solution. The IoT solution should enable them to acquire and analyze asset data in real-time, extract business-relevant insights, and then use those insights to drive business automation.

    Use Case
    • Configure Oracle IoT Asset Monitoring Cloud Service to automate the tracking, monitoring and management of the runway sweeper machines. The application should:

      • Raise a warning when the machine exceed the standard speed or leaves its standard geo-location.
      • Calculate the avg fuel level of sweepers and the sweeper engine breakdown from the incoming sensor data and display the metrics.
      • Generate an incident if it detects and anomaly in the sensor data.
      • Predict an engine breakdown in the next 24 hours and generate a warning.
      • Integrate with Oracle Maintenance Cloud for maintenance of assets.
      • Generate a work order in Oracle Maintenance Cloud when an engine malfunctions.

      To implement the use case, you perform four major tasks, and in each task you complete the steps sequentially:
