Tax Reporting offers you the option to create a sample application that provides pre-loaded metadata, data, and related artifacts. By trying and testing this ready-to-use environment, you can explore the capabilities and performance of Tax Reporting, and then use the sample application as a reference to more easily model your own business process using your metadata and data.

Review the following video and documentation topics for an overview of creating a new application:
1. Log on to Tax Reporting as a system administrator.
2. On the Tax Reporting page, scroll to Tax Reporting, and then click Select.
In Create a New Application, click Start.
In Create Application: General, enter a name and description for your Tax Reporting application, and then click Next.
In Create Application: Details, define your start and end year, select the main application currency, and select whether to use multicurrency. (Note that multicurrency cannot be changed after the application is created.) Click Next to advance to the next screen.
In Create Application: Features, select whether to enable any reporting and other optional features, and then click Next. (Note that once enabled, these features cannot be disabled. To remove the features, you would have to create a new application.)
In Create Application: Review, review your selections, and then click Create to start the application process.
A dialog box is displayed indicating the status of the application creation.
Once the application has been successfully created, click OK in the Application Creation Status dialog box.
After you click OK, the application is displayed.
