Rich formatting carries information beyond the words and numbers in the message. With rich formatting, not only are your messages accurate and timely, they are also easily understood by their recipients. They communicate your company's brand to your customers and partners. Starting with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Release 9.2.6.3, you can create orchestration and notification messages that include formatted text, tables, images, and links that are interspersed with the text. In this learning path, you will create a notification message with formatted text and images. You will also dispatch that notification so you can see what the message recipient would see. All the rich formatting features used in these exercises apply to orchestration messages, too. In fact, if you prefer, you can complete these exercises using an orchestration message step instead of a notification. You can then create an orchestration with that message step and run it to send the email to yourself.
