      • View Oracle Cloud Infrastructure usage data using the Cost Analysis user interface.
      • Create a connection with authentication and endpoint definition to the OCI Usage API.
      • Create a connector to invoke the OCI Usage API and return selected data.
      • Create a message that sends the selected data in a formatted table.

    • Scenario

For this learning path, consider a scenario where you want to create an orchestration that uses the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Usage service to get the cost and amount of usage of various services in your OCI compartment and sends that information in a message.

Using the OCI Usage service you can gain insights on cost and usage of OCI services. You can easily communicate this information in an orchestrator message to interested parties. Starting with EnterpriseOne Release 24 (Tools Release 9.2.8.2), orchestrations can call OCI REST services and starting with EnterpriseOne Tools Release 9.2.8.3 messages and notifications can include tables of data gathered in your orchestration.

      What Do You Need?

      • JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Release 9.2.8.3 or later.
      • Subscription to OCI Service.
      • User authorization to use the relevant OCI services (for this OBE, the Usage and Cost Analysis services).
      • Already generated OCI API key, or the ability to generate one.
      • Already generated OCI private key (.pem) file.
  • Enabling Access to OCI Services
      duration 3 Min
This module provides an overview of the OCI services that you can access through JD Edwards Orchestrator. These OCI services include AI services such as Generative AI, Generative AI agents, Digital assistants, OCI Vision, and Document Understanding.
