Learn to create RESTful Java microservice applications that can be deployed to Oracle Cloud Service. Then, configure Oracle Developer Cloud Service to automatically build and deploy your application to Oracle Application Container Cloud Service. 

This 3-week Massive Open Online Course covers:

• Introduction to REST and Microservices
• Building a RESTful Java Application with Spring Boot
• Automating Build and Deploy with Oracle Developer Cloud Services

• Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Java (6 months to a year's experience)
• Familiarity with using the command line on Windows, Mac OS, or Linux
• Ability to use a Programming IDE like Eclipse or NetBeans, or a text editor like Notepad++

Enrollment is a multi-step process. After your enrollment is approved, you will be granted access to the course materials as they are posted each week.

Each week the course content is made available.  Materials are available 24/7 until the end of the course.  You may access the material any time, and interact with other students and the instructor using the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) Community for MOOCs.

Weekly course content consists of the following:

1. A series of videos and supporting materials presented to explore the content
2. Homework as a series of exercises to illustrate the content covered
3. Assessments as a series of short quizzes provided weekly to assess your understanding.

There are three course quizzes. You will have 3 tries for each quiz. Score 70% or greater on each of the quizzes and you will receive a completion award. The questions are based on the course content and the homework.
